Latin-American Gambling Associations reunite for the first time

The Latin-American Gambling Association (ALAJA), the Argentinean Chamber of the Gambling Industry (CAIJA) and the Latin-American Gambling fair (SAGGE) have announced their first encounter with the purpose of evaluating the industry and discuss the path that it will follow in the next years.

The event, named “First Meeting of Latin American Gambling Associations” by its organizers, will take place in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 5th, this year.

The organizers of the event have highlighted the importance of it as an opportunity to exchange the experiences, results and strategies used by the different Latin American countries in the promotion of gambling with the objective of improving the industry. A final document to propone a long term legal frame that will bring security to operators and facilitate investments in the industry will be written with the consensus of all associations.

Guillermo Gabella, president of ALAJA, Miguel Cópola, president of CAIJA and Giorgio Gennari Litta, president of SAGSE announced that “the final objective of the meeting will be the promotion of our industry, real engine to strong investments and creation of work opportunities and main tax source in most countries, empowering its important role in the eradication of illegal gambling”.
